JHMS releases today at the box office and everyone’s talking about Harry and Sejal. The craze is fantastic and as earlier reported by us the advance bookings are also holding up really well. The film has already done 6 crores in Advance Bookings for the first day which is fantastic news.
JHMS First Day Box Office collection is going to be very crucial for Shah Rukh Khan. Higher collection on day 1 ensures solid final figures for the movie. Because no matter how good the film is or shows growth later on if you don’t take a decent Initial your lifetime figures are going to be poor.
Public Word of Mouth
The Word of Mouth for this film is of utmost importance for Jab Harry Met Sejal. The Advance bookings have ensured the film will take a strong opening in the Morning. But if it has to pick up in the evening and Saturday, the word of mouth is going to play an exceptionally important role.
Track Record of Imtiaz Ali
Imtiaz Ali isn’t as successful as he used to be in his days of Jab we met and Love Aaj Kal. He has just failed in creating box office marvels with bad movies like Tamasha, Rockstar being duds at the BO.
We hope this poor track record changes with JHMS and it restores the public’s faith in Imtiaz Ali as the people’s director.
JHMS First Day Collection Updates
As of right now, there is no real data available about Jab Harry Met Sejal First Day Collection. As per our Prediction, JHMS should easily cross the 15 crore mark on its First day. We will keep updating our site as soon as we have some figures.
Update (1:20 PM Friday): The First reports are coming in. The Movie has opened a little lower than Raees at the Multiplexes. The average Multiplex is opening is at 45% for shows till 1 PM. The Single Screens are around 20-30% for the first show.
The Word of Mouth for JHMS is coming out and its highly mixed. Some are liking the film while some are not. A clearer picture should be available by evening.
Update (5:40 PM Friday): The Reports till 4 PM shows are in. And as per our current Estimates, JHMS is looking to have a first day of around Rs. 16 crores net.
Final Update (11:30 PM Saturday): The final collections are now here and the film has collected approximately Rs. 16.23 crores net.
Adjustments (Sun, 6 am): As per sone adjustments in collection in Mumbai and Delhi Region, Actual Figure is now Rs. 15.25 crores net.
