Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif starred Jagga Jasoos released at the box office last Friday. This is also Ranbir Kapoor’s home production film. The film received mixed reviews from the critics and audience. The mixed word of mouth has played an important role in dwindling its collections. The music of the film is appreciated by the critics and Ranbir Kapoor has done a top class acting in the movie. But all this is not sufficient to make it a hit film.
After getting a low opening at the box office, the film shows a slight jump in its collections in the subsequent days. But it witnesses a decline on Monday and from then onwards it keeps on dwindling. The stiff competition from other films affects the film collections badly. - Wednesday – Rs 3.05 crores
- Thursday – Rs. 2.54 crores
Total – Rs. 46.29 crores
The film has disappointed with its performance. Weekend business has witnessed growth but the film has failed to perform on its weekdays.
