Akshay Kumar’s courtroom comedy drama Jolly LLB 2 witnessed a solid start while the growth from Friday to Sunday is really impressive. The movie has already broken the record of Hrithik Roshan’s Kaabil and managed to bag great number in just 4 days. Jolly LLB 2 has collected Rs. 7.26 crores on its first Monday which is not bad at all considering it was not a holiday. So, now the movie stands at Rs. 57.72 crores at the domestic market. Tuesday being the Valentine’s day, however, can’t add much business as it is not a romantic or love story.
The movie needs to face some competition in the next week as some other movies such as The Ghazi Attack and Running Shaadi.com is set to release this weekend, so Jolly LLB 2 has to share screen space with them which might affect this movie’s business a bit.
Strong positive word of mouth from the audiences and positive reviews from critics helped the comedy movie to witness huge improvement in the box office collection. The performance of other lead casts such as Huma Qureshi, Annu Kapoor is really impressive. So, it is to see now if this movie can cross 100 crores club soon.
