Jumanji 2 finally released here. With an average rating of more than 3 by all the leading critics, the movie was definitely set to break records. And as expected, it is rocking at the box office. Even though with Tiger Zinda Hai running super strong parallelly, Jumanji received a massive opening and Majority of the screens went houseful worldwide.
Jumanji 2 So Far Collection
Jumanji 1st part came in the year 1995. And the movie was a massive blockbuster during its time. The 2nd part of the movie, Jumanji Welcome to the Jungle, was released on 20th Dec in the USA and many more countries. Going by the success of its 1st part, this movie is set to break all previous records. It is one of the most awaited films of 2017.
In one week of its runtime, it collected a whopping figure of $119 million, i.e., more than Rs. 770 crores. Outside the USA, it made the total box office collection of around Rs. 319 Crores. Keeping the audience’s excitement in mind, the total collection of the movie is fully justified.
Jumanji 2 First Day Collection (India)
Now let’s talk about the Jumanji 2 first day collection in India. With Tiger Zinda Hai giving a tough competition to the movie, it received a huge opening of around 70%. Furthermore, in some of the multiplexes, the movie also witnessed houseful bookings. It received the total screen count of around 1000 pan India.
On the 1st day of its release, the movie is off to a solid start, with a total box office collection of estimated Rs. 6.5 Crores. And this success is expected to remain strong all over the weekend. Since the critics have given positive views about the film and there has been a lot of hype about the movie, Positive word of mouth is soon on its way.
