Ki & Ka has taken a Good start at the box office. The film has started better as compared to Kapoor & Sons. Only Slightly better, that too also because it is a wider release .
The first day early estimates are in, and they are in the range of Rs. 7-7.5 crores. This is a Great figure, and one of the better openings of this year. This film stars Arjun Kapoor in the Lead Role, who is not much of a Box Office attraction, although his 2 States did gross 100 crores at the box office. Kareena Kapoor Definitely is a Bonus for this film, and adds to the star power.
The word of mouth for this movie is mostly neutral till now. Real effect of Public response will start taking place tomorrow onwards, when more and more people have seen the movie.
If the film holds up, the weekend can go above 25 crores easily. Otherwise, touching 20 can be tough.
