Ekta Kapoor is the queen of Television who has inverted the power structure in television to reflect women as the epicenter of power and this has impressed many while producer Prakash Jha is one of them definitely. Lipstick Under My Burkha is a credible and entertaining film directed by Alankrita Srivastava and produced by Prakash Jha which could not reach the mainstream audiences. The movie even though received huge appreciation and critical acclaim but the censor board did not allow it to release claiming this is an extremely lady oriented movie which has audio pornography.
But as soon as producer Prakash Jha invited Ekta Kapoor to watch the movie she was really impressed by it and did not delay to say that she would bring the movie to large masses. The producer of the movie Prakash Jha stated that he knew this movie will be liked by Ekta Kapoor as this will match with her sensibilities. He also went on to say that she is very feminine and it was really important to him that how the movie is being liked by her.
The movie ‘Lipstick Under My Burkha’ is set to release on July 28th. So, it is to see if it can impress the audiences as well.
