Both the movies Meri Pyaari Bindu and Sarkar 3 have been released yesterday but unfortunately the box office collection of their opening day is not as expected. Lots of expectations were involved with the Ram Gopal Verma’s Sarkar 3 however it ended up earning only Rs. 2.30 crores in the domestic box office while the other Bollywood release Meri Pyaari Bindu starring Parineeti Chopra and Ayushmann Khurrana made it bit more as this movie’s collection is Rs. 3.5 crores.
However, there are reasons why both the movies could not do well as they had to share screen with another blockbuster Bahubali 2 which is still running very successfully in its third week as well.
Bahubali 2 is still dominating at the box office that has collected more than the total of other two movies Meri Pyaari Bindu and Sarkar 3 on its 3rd Friday.
Amitabh Bachchan played the lead role in Sarkar 3 and he mentioned that he played angrier than ever in this movie. However things did not go well. While the second franchise of Sarkar collected around Rs. 5 crores on the opening day, Sarkar could not reach even half of that.
So, it is Meri Pyaari Bindu that has won the battle on the opening day.
