It is a film set in India from the tumultuous times of 1930’s when nationalists fighting for their motherland’s independence united as one against the British, urging them to quit. At this times, a young Indian, Krsna becomes friend with a daughter of British collector, Katherine. He decides to protect her from the enraged mob of the nationalists and escort her to the British high commission, from where she can be sent back to her home in Britain. During this traveling, a tender attraction develops between them. Whether they separate or live together?
