This is a story of a government clerk who is assigned the duty to conduct voting on an election day. The location assigned to him is the conflict-ridden jungle of Central India. In this zone, there is a fear of guerrilla attacks by communist rebels and there is a lack of concern by the security forces. Amidst this danger, he tries his best to conduct free and fair voting.
