Mubarakan showed decent jumps in its box office collections over the last 2 days. The film was expected to open around 8-9 crores, but it couldn’t manage to do that. It collected around Rs. 5.25 crores on its first day which was not very impressive. But the trending in collections is the only thing which is keeping the producers and Arjun Kapoor happy right now.
The Saturday Collections showed a decent Jump of More than 40% taking the Second-day figure to a decent total of around Rs. 7.38 crores. The film has held up really well and is expected to show a similar jump on Sunday as well. The collections will easily be around Rs. 10 crores for its third day which would take the total box office collections to around Rs. 22.5-23 crores net.

Mubarakan Box Office Collections:
- Friday – Rs. 5.16 crores
- Saturday – Rs. 7.38 crores
- Sunday – Rs. 10.37 crores
Total – Rs. 22.91 crores
Although not a very impressive total but ensures that the film would hold up during the weekdays and put up some respectable total before Jab Harry Met Sejal Releases next week. Most comedies these days fail to make the list of best comedy movies, and that includes Mubarakan.
Considering JHMS coming this Friday, Mubarakan has only 4 days to do any decent collections at the box office. Even a Business of around 12 crores would take the film to 35 crores which wouldn’t be enough to call the film a hit. Mubarakan chose a very unfortunate time to release and it’s going to suffer because of it.

The Holdover release from Last Week, LUMB did very decent collections at the box office. Lipstick Under my Burkha’s second-weekend box office collections is looking really impressive. Here is how the film fared over the weekend.
- First Week = Rs. 10.96 crores
- 2nd Friday = Rs. 94 Lakhs
- Saturday = Rs. 1.37 crores
- Sunday = Rs. 1.45 crores (Estimated)
Total = Rs. 14.72 crores
