Varun Dhawan’s movie October started its journey on a decent note and could not appeal much to the audience. Well, it was obvious because of its genre and trailer. The film received positive reviews from the critics and everyone praised the story of the film. Now, this is the second day of October in the theaters and it has to witness an excellent growth today. Here are the early estimates for October 2nd day collection.
Mixed Response
October had a low start in the morning and it witnessed a decent jump in the afternoon and evening shows. The film received a mixed response from the audience on its first day as it is not a masala movie. Varun Dhawan’s similar movie, Badlapur also collected averagely on its opening day but it had some hit songs which helped it in entertaining the people. But October contains no such thing and hence it received lowest first-day collection among Varun Dhawan all movies.
Saturday Collection Early Estimates
On its second day, October has to gain momentum and collect a big amount. The film is in competition from the holdover Hindi releases as well as new Hollywood films. It is of immense importance for October to not only register an excellent jump over its first weekend but also on the coming weekdays.
Keeping in mind the performances of these type of films, October 2nd Day collection would be a decent amount. It would grow by 25-30% on Saturday and collect around Rs. 6.30-6.60 crores. More updates about the film would be made available soon.
Update: October witnessed an excellent growth on its second day and earned Rs. 7.51 crores. After two days, the total of the film stands at Rs. 12.51 crores.
