OK Jaanu, the first big Bollywood release of 2017 has opened on a very decent with around 25% occupancy in the morning show and it is highly expected to show some growth on the weekend. Shraddha Kapoor and Aditya Roy Kapoor are starring together in this movie after they delivered the very successful Aashiqui 2. The 1st day collection of OK Jaanu is not bad at as all it has managed to do a business of Rs. 4.08 crores.
The movie is receiving positive reaction from audiences mainly due to the youthful music of AR Rahman while the critics are not highly satisfied. However, Shraddha Kapoor acted pretty well and she is looking very fresh and pretty also. Ok Jaanu is the remake of Tamil movie OK Kanmani by Mani Ratnam released in 2015.
Other release of yesterday is Haraamkhor starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Shweta Tripathi which is a non-commercial small budget movie opened with 5-10% occupancy and did business under Rs. 1 crore. Another movie xXX: Return Of Xander Cage starring Deepika Padukone and Vin Diesel is releasing today, so it is absolute that Ok Jaanu needs to face some tough competition from that movie.
