Padman slowed down on its entry into week 2. In the first week, the film gained the advantage of partial holidays but faced competition on the 2nd weekend due to new films. On 2nd Saturday and Sunday, Padman took a jump from its Friday collection and earned decently over the second weekend. Let’s have a look at Padman 2nd Monday Collection early estimates in details.

Poor Response in Rural Areas

Padman did not show good performance in the rural areas of the country. Also, it failed to attract a good number of footfalls from North India but received good response from central India. Padman is similar to TEPK hence was expected to earn more than it. But in the case of TEPK, the subject was openly discussed by the audience, hence it did well.

2nd Monday Collection Early Estimates

Padman witnessed fall on 2nd Friday due to new releases. However, it showed a good growth over Saturday and Sunday. On Saturday it grew by over 50% and on Sunday Padman showed 25% from the previous day which helps its 2nd-weekend collection to cross Rs. 9 crores. However, this growth was at low levels but still, it was better than the new release Aiyaary.

Padman 2nd Monday collection is expected to remain steady and would land in the range of Rs. 1.60-1.70 crores, which in other words means a fall of about 20-25% from its 2nd Friday.
