But in the case of Padman, the subject revolves around the menstrual hygiene of women. In most of the places, people find it uncomfortable to discuss openly issues related to it. That’s why Padman lacks behind TEPK in terms of box office collection.

9th Day Collection Early Estimates

Padman witnessed the first crack in its collection on the 2nd Friday and only managed to earn Rs. 2.10 crores. The drop is significant because of the stiff competition from Padmaavat and Black Panther. But the good thing is Padman is not facing any competition from Aiyaary. Due to flop show of Aiyaary, Akshay Kumar’s film would get benefitted this week.

On the 2nd Saturday, Padman is likely to show around 30-35% growth and would earn around Rs. 2.75 crores today. Still, the film has done a remarkable job at the box office and is expected to collect around Rs. 8 crores over the second weekend.
