Not only in its first week but also the film has shown solid performance on its second Friday. It did not show any major fall on its 9th day and earned a good amount. No Sign of Slowing down

Padmaavat sets an example for other films with its strong performance in the theaters. The film earned a handsome amount of money in its first 9 days and refused to show any sign of slowing down. This is the scenario when it did not get a clean and peaceful release. Had it been released in a normal environment, another Rs 50 crores business would have added to its pocket. On its non-holiday second Friday, Padmavat showed little drop which ensures the stronghold of the film. Not many films had achieved this glory in the history of Indian cinema.

Highest Grosser of Sanjay Leela Bhansali

Until its 9th day, the film crossed the mark of Rs. 175 crores at the box office. And it is all set to become the highest grosser of Ranveer Singh and Sanjay Leela Bhansali. By today, it would easily surpass the lifetime business of Bajirao Mastani. The film has not only shown a remarkable performance in the domestic market but has also broken many records in the international theaters in the countries such as North America, Australia, Singapore, to name a few.

10th Day Early Estimates

Seeing its stronghold on the second Friday, Padmaavat is expected to remain strong on its second weekend. On its 10th day, the film would easily witness 30% growth on an average scale. Talking about the numbers, the second Saturday collection is most likely to land between Rs. 12 – 14 crores. More updates will be made available soon.

Update: Contrary to the expectations, the film showed humongous growth of 70% from its 9th day and earned Rs. 17 crores. The total collection of the film stands at Rs. 193.50 crores.
