Occupancy Rate

First Day Collection Early Estimates

In India, horror films usually earn low collection at the box office and not many horror flicks had performed exceptionally well. Pari seems a different kind of horror film and the hype it has created before its release would benefit it. Pari has received better critics reviews than Phillauri. Phillauri Collections were helped by Diljit Dosanjh’s presence in Punjab. Also, there is a slight difference in the role of Anushka Sharma as she is playing an abuse victim in Pari.

Also, Pari has a big challenge in the form of the holdover release, Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety. SKTKS is doing really well at the box office and is likely to perform well on Holi too. So it would be interesting to see how Pari competes with it. Seeing the morning occupancy, Pari has opened low but is expected to pick its pace in the remaining shows of the day. More updates will be made available soon.

Update (Friday 4 PM) : As the Festivities of Holi calm and down, and people start going to theatres. We are seeing an increase in people at Pari Shows, but still, the performance is very poor. At most, this film can collect around Rs. 4 crores on its opening.

Final Update: Pari collected Rs. 4.36 crores on its opening day.
