Veteran actress Reema Lagoo breathed her last on 18th May at a private hospital in Mumbai. As per her son-in-law, the popular actress complained of chest pain at night on Wednesday after which she was admitted to the Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital at around 1.00 AM. She passed away there at 3.15 AM due to heart attack. This news left everyone shocked as she was perfectly fine.
Reema Lagoo played the on-screen mother of most of the actors starting from Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Sanjay Dutt, Govinda and Ajay Devgn. Her acting career garnered her huge popularity and applause while she played the on-screen mother in numerous hit movies such as Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak, Kuch Kuch Hota Hain, Hum Aapke Hain Koun, Maine Pyar Kiya, Dilwale, Kal Ho Naa Ho etc.
This famous actress was also seen in many TV serials and Marathi films. Tu Tu Main Main and Shriman Shrimati are other popular TV shows where she performed spectacularly.
Remma Lagoo was born in 1958 as Gurinder Bhadbhade. She completed her high school in Pune and started the acting just right then. Married to a Marathi actor Vivek Lagoo, she then took the name of Reema Lagoo.
The actress passed away at the age of 59.
