Both Simran and Lucknow Central released last week and started their journey on a low note. The films do face competition from other holdovers films but managed to take a jump in their weekend collection. Although they showed some good collection on the weekend, it was not sufficient to take its collection to a decent total. On weekdays the films were expected to show some kind of magic but it was not the case. Both the films are not performing well and are likely to fall on the list of flops.
Simran
Kangana Ranaut starrer Simran was expected to perform exceptionally well right from its beginning but it failed to get a good start which completely changes the entire equation. The film does recover by taking a jump in its weekend performance but on weekdays it failed to get the kind of start it needed to make it to the list of hit films.

Lucknow Central
Farhan Akhtar starrer Lucknow Central also started its box office journey last week. The film failed to get a good opening but tried to recover on the weekend. On the weekdays the film disappointed the audience and is going to fall in the list of flop films of this year.
