After involving in a high-temperature controversy, Kangana Ranaut lands on the box office with her new release Simran. The film created a lot of buzz because of its trailer and melodious songs before its release. Simran was the most awaited films of Kangana because of her unique style of acting. However, its journey till now is not what the audience wanted. On the other hand, Farhan Akhtar starrer Lucknow Central also failed to do any magic and is sailing with below average momentum.
Simran
The film started its journey on a low note and disappointed the audience on its opening day. On Saturday, the film took a jump which helped the film to raise its box office collection. However, on Sunday, it raised its collection less than our expectations. On Monday the film kept the same momentum and failed to take a bigger jump. On Tuesday Simran is likely to follow the same trend and not much jump can be expected from the film.

Update: The film performed as per our expectations and earned Rs. 1.25 crores on Tuesday. Its total Box office Collection now stands at Rs. 13.31 crores.
Lucknow Central
Farhan Akhtar starrer Lucknow Central started its journey with a low opening collection. On the weekend, the film took long jumps and tried to maintain a respectable total at the box office. On Monday, the film performed on the same note and failed to take a long jump which was imperative for it to get placed in the good films. Now, the film needs to perform exceptionally well in the remaining weekdays to collect a respectable box office collection.
The hope of film’s taking a long jump is not high and it is heading towards the flop list of 2017. Only a very good performance can save the film. On Tuesday, it is expected to follow the same trending as it showed in the previous days.
