Singer: Akriti Kakar

Akriti Kakar is a Delhi-based singer who moved to Mumbai to become a playback singer in Bollywood. After so much struggle, she finally made her debut with the song, Cham Se Wo Aa Jaye from the film Dus in 2004. This song was composed by the famous music composer duo, Vishal-Shekhar. Tha Kar Ke, Iski Uski, Marjani, Khudaya Khair, Abhi Abhi, Move Your Body are some famous Akriti Kakar songs.

Furthermore, her younger siblings, Prakriti Kakar & Sukriti Kakar who are twins interestingly also followed her & became playback singers in Bollywood. Prakriti is best known for soft romantic songs, Sukriti is mostly famous for party numbers & loud songs.

In the year 2010, Kakar released her album which was titled as Akriti. It consisted of 6-7 songs. She collaborated with the renowned singer & composer, Shanker Mahadevan for the composition of this album.
