Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety is performing strongly in its second week and is dominating over other films. On the other hand, Anushka Sharma’s Pari is struggling to get a good response from the audience. Veerey Ki Wedding fails to impress the viewers right from its opening day. Let’s have a look at the box office performance of the three films SKTKS, Pari, and Veerey Ki Wedding in details.
Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety 13th day Collection Early Estimates
SKTKS has managed to continue its first week performance and crossed the mark of Rs. 20 crores in the week 2. Even on the weekdays of the second week, it is earning a good amount and its total surpassed Rs. 70 crores mark on the 2nd Tuesday. It is inching towards becoming the second highest grossing film of the year and would achieve this status by the end of week 3. The poor performance by the other films has helped SKTKS to register a good growth at the box office. On its 2nd Wednesday, it would witness minimal fall from the last day and earn around Rs. 2.15 – 2.30 crores.
If we compare the box office collection of Fukrey Returns and SKTKS then an interesting equation comes to our notice. Fukrey Returns performed better than SKTKS in week 1 but in the second week, the story completely changes. Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety has earned more than Fukrey Returns in the week 2. And since there is no big release on this Friday so it is likely to continue its winning streak in the third week.
Pari Wednesday Collection Early Estimates
Pari has not performed up to the mark and showed ordinary attitude at the box office. The film not only failed to witness a strong growth over the first weekend but is also performing below average on the weekdays. It would be able to cross Rs. 20 crores mark in its first week but would find it difficult to sustain itself in the second week. On Wednesday, it is also expected to earn a low number like the previous days and its collection would land in the range of Rs. 1.50 – 1.80 crores.
Veerey Ki Wedding Collection
Veerey Ki Wedding has fared very poorly since its release. It has just managed to cross the mark of Rs. 2.50 crores and shown similar performance to the last week release, Welcome to New York.
