Better Performance than Previous Films
Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety is a similar film to Pyaar Ka Panchnama series and has performed better than earlier two films. The director, Luv Ranjan has got it right yet again and gives a good film to watch for the audience. Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety earned a very good amount on its opening day and surprised everyone with its superb performance.

Despite the mixed reviews, SKTKS attracted a good number of footfalls to its theaters. The film remained unaffected due to competition from holdover release, Aiyaary, and the new film Welcome to New York hence showed its dominance at the box office. It received a good response especially from North India and also got positive reviews from the audience.
The songs of the film are also loved by the audience. Especially, the song Dil Chori by Honey Singh and Hans Raj Hans has raised the level of the film.
2nd Day Collection Early Estimates
After a strong opening, the word of mouth would play the game in its favour and it would show good growth over the next two days. Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety Saturday Collection is expected to be in the range of Rs. 8.30 – 8.70 crores, which in other words means a growth of around 30-35% over the opening day.
Also, the film is not going to get affected by its competitor Welcome to New York as the latter fared poorly on its opening day. SKTKS is walking on the footprints of the similar film, Fukrey Returns but earned lower in rural cities.
