Tiger Zinda has already passed the major test yesterday. After a big opening, many films tend to drop a little. But the fact that TZH held its own on its second day was fantastic. The film showed a small growth of around Rs. 75 Lakhs, which is quite good for a film performing at this level. But the real thing is to see if Tiger Zinda Hai 3rd Day Collection is just as strong. TZH Early Morning Reports
TZH Sunday Collection started on a positive note with 1000s of theatres nationwide reported 75 to 100% Occupancy. In this chilling winter any occupancy above 60% for an 8:30 AM show is fantastic. The Sunday morning is on the same lines as Friday, with the difference that now multiplexes are also performing just as good.
Often for such films, Multiplexes take time to pick up. But when they do, the collections are magnificent. TZH is all set for a solid 3rd day. The pace is going to increase a lot as the day progresses. The footfalls are already very high.
Single screens from a few locations are also reporting a lot of repeat audience, which is often the case for a Salman Khan film.
Second Success of this team after Sultan
Ali Abbas Zafar and Salman Khan also teamed up for Sultan which was also a huge Success. TZH is also on the same lines. TZH has the advantage of multiple holidays. Sunday Collections are going to be super huge, and Monday is expected to be on the same lines as well because of Christmas Holiday.
It is interesting to note that, Ek Tha Tiger was a Kabir Khan Directorial, but the sequel is not. Sometimes its good to hand over your film to someone else, when you run out of creative ideas for a sequel. This is what Kabir Khan did and it’s fantastic.
Salman Khan’s Highest Grosser till date is Bajrangi Bhaijaan which is also a Kabir Khan film.
3rd Day Collection – Updates
Update – 10:30 AM: The film has picked up a good pace and the footfalls are strong. Considering the current trend and advance bookings for the rest of the day. We are hopeful that the film is going to surpass Saturday and Sunday by a good margin.
If we have to predict a figure, our team of experts suggest that Tiger Zinda Hai 3rd day will be around Rs. 38 crores, which is an ideal mark for this film. But this super film can show significant growth and go past 40 as well.
Update – 10 AM (Monday) – TZH Has destroyed the box office. Rs. 44.5 crores on Sunday. This is the highest ever. All Records shattered.
