Salman Khan starrer Tiger Zinda Hai has continued its dominance over other new releases on the fourth Friday. The film has not only surpassed the first-day collection of the Kaalakaandi, Mukkabaaz, and 1921. But only equals the box office collection of Bajrangi Bhaijaan. Let’s have a look at the Tiger Zinda Hai 4th Friday collection in details. Also, discuss the reason for the poor show by all the three new releases.
TZH Crosses the Lifetime Collection of Bajrangi Bhaijaan
After performing exceptionally well in the first three weeks, TZH has refused to slow down in the fourth weekend also. The film broke many records at the box office and ended the year 2017 on a positive note.
TZH has earned at a very rapid pace and crossed the box office business of Bajrangi Bhaijaan. The three new releases this Friday failed to show any magic and are struggling to cross even Rs.1 crore mark on their opening day. With the kind of pace Tiger Zinda Hai is sailing at the box office, it is undoubtedly going to show its dominance over the fourth weekend.
Tiger Zinda hai has not only performed well in the domestic market but has also done a remarkable job in the overseas market. Hence the total worldwide collection of the film also enjoys a handsome number. Talking about the numbers, then it has taken its overseas box office collection to Rs. 122.12 crores.
Kaalakaandi, Mukkabaaz, and 1921 Fail to Witness Even Decent Opening
Saif Ali Khan’s Kaalakaandi repeated the same story as his last release, Chef. The collection of Kaalakkandi is even lesser than Chef. The other new releases namely Mukkabaaz and 1921 also showed poor performance on their maiden day. Over the first weekend also, they are not expected to show any major change in their box office performance. With Tiger Zinda Hai on the screens, they would face difficulty in attracting footfalls to their theaters.
