Salman Khan has been giving back to back hits at the box office. With each of his movie breaking some or the other records made by his previous movies. Tiger Zinda Hai is the greatest example of his might. Day by Day, TZH is crossing the lifetime collections of Salman’s many movies.

Within 6 days of its release, the movie has already gathered Rs. 191 Crores at the Indian Box Office. With this, TZH has successfully crossed the lifetime box office collection of Ek Tha Tiger. Released back in 2012, the movie made total box office collection of Rs. 188 Crores. Tiger Zinda Hai is the sequel to Ek Tha Tiger. The figures itself prove that the movie is much more superhit and blockbuster at the box office than its prequel.

Salman Khan’s Blockbusters and their Lifetime Collections

Bajrangi Bhaijaan (2015) – Rs. 320 Crores

Sultan (2016) – Rs. 301 Crores

Prem Ratan Dhan Payo (2015) – Rs. 195 Crores

So far, Tiger Zinda Hai has already broken the records of Dabangg, Dabangg 2, Bodyguard and many more. The audience is loving the movie to the core and is welcoming it with their both arms. Hence the pace at which it is running, it will enter the 300 Cr. club very fast. And if its performance is taken as a witness, it will soon surpass all of Salman’s previous movies and will emerge out to be the highest grossing Salman Khan movie till date. It will be interesting to watch as to how many days it will take to cross his highest grossing so far, Bajrangi Bhaijaan.

Tiger Zinda Hai opened to the box office collection of Rs. 34.10 Crores on its 1st day, which have been more than Dangal’s 1st-day collections. With its performance, this movie became the 2nd highest grossing Bollywood movie of the year, after Baahubali 2 hindi dubbed version, which collected Rs. 40 Crores.

The movie is expected to perform phenomenally for 1 more month since no good movies are releasing in between. Seems like it would face real competition from 26th January, when Akshay Kumar’s Padman is releasing. Will the movie continue to perform good, or will take a back seat due to Padman?

After the great success of Tiger Zinda Hai, Salman Khan is now shooting for Remo D’Souza’s upcoming thriller – Race 3. He will be seen for the 1st time in the Race series. Let’s see if it will perform same as the other Race franchise movies, or will be another super hit due to Salman Khan.
