Tubelight Opened somewhat decently at the box office with Final Friday figure coming just slightly below our early estimate. The opening figure was Rs. 21.25 crores net. And as of now, it is the 18th Best Opening Day Collection of all time. As per our estimates Due to pre-eid festivities, the film lost around 4 crores on Friday, which it should have been able to cover up on Saturday.
Saturday Collections
But that did not help the movie on Saturday at all. And all the credit goes to poor critic reviews. The film has failed to show any significant jump. Saturday Box Office collections are Rs. 21.17 crores. This is not an impressive figure and under ideal circumstances, this should have been around 30 crores.
Sunday Collections
The Sunday is looking to do slightly better at the box office probably because of a holiday and there are no other films at the box office. And most Salman Khan fans would like to see the movie themselves than trust critic reviews. As per Early Estimate, the Sunday Collections are looking to come around Rs. 24 crores net. This takes the approximate Tubelight’s first weekend collections to a mark of over Rs. 65 crores. A Decent figure for any film, not for a Salman Khan film.
