Salman Khan and Ali Abbas Zafar have given 2 back to back hits till date, namely ‘Sultan’ and ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’. TZH has already crossed the lifetime collection of Sultan. With this, it also became 2017’s highest Hindi grosser. Looking at the pace at which this movie is breaking records, it is soon going to surpass the lifetime collection of Salman’s highest grosser till date, Bajrangi Bhaijaan.
Third movie of Ali Abbas Zafar and Salman Khan
Now the superhit duo is coming with their third movie, ‘Bharat’. Looking at the success of previous 2 movies, they are hoping to hit a hattrick with Bharat. This movie is said to be the Bollywood remake of Korean film, ‘Ode to My Father’. Atul Agnihotri, the brother-in-law of Salman Khan, has already purchased the rights to remake Korean film. And he will be producing the film. This time also, Katrina Kaif would be seen opposite to Salman Khan in the movie. However, Katrina being in the movie is not fully confirmed yet.
The movie would go on floors in March this year. Till then, Salman is busy shooting for Race 3 and Ali Abbas Zafar is planning to take a month long break and relax.
Change of Salman’s Look in Bharat
So far, we have always seen Salman Khan in a macho look. He is mostly seen going shirtless and flexing his muscles. But this time, he would be seen in a completely different avatar. The movie may bring to light his never-before-seen side. According to certain reports, Ali Abbas is trying to experiment with the hidden capabilities of the hero.
With the enormous success of Sultan and Tiger Zinda Hai, it would be interesting to watch the duo collaborating yet again for Bharat. Now we need to wait and see if this experiment of deviating from Salman’s macho look would be successful at the box office? Or will it fail just like in ‘Tubelight’?
