Veere Di Wedding has completed its first week at the box office and held strong. The film didn’t receive a good response from the conservative families and still earned an excellent amount in its pocket. Surprisingly Well Performance of Female-Centric Film

Veere Di Wedding surprised everyone with its solid opening and also gave an impressive performance over the first weekend. Also, the film remained strong on the weekdays and managed to cross Rs. 55 crores mark in just seven days. Now, in the second week, the film has challenges in the form of the movies, Kaala and the Hollywood flick, Jurassic World – Fallen Kingdom. It has to earn well in the second week to raise its total because, in the third week, a new release Race 3 is releasing which would present a stiff competition to the film. Carry On Jatta 2 Becomes the Highest Grosser Punjabi Film

Carry On Jatta 2 breaks all records and sets a new record by becoming the highest grosser Punjabi Film. It becomes the first Punjabi film to cross Rs. 15 crores mark and also collected an excellent amount in the overseas. In the second week, it is also likely to hold well and would take its total to a new level. Carry On Jatta 2 first week collection is as follows:

  • Friday – Rs. 2.32 crores
  • Saturday – Rs. 2.67 crores
  • Sunday – Rs. 3.23 crores
  • Monday – Rs. 2.16 crores

Parmanu Recovers Well After Initial Loss

Parmanu earned over Rs. 35 crores in the first week and started its second week on a solid note. It remained unaffected due to the stiff competition from all the other releases and collected over Rs.15 crores in its week 2. The total of the movie crossed Rs. 50 crores and this is a very good earning keeping in mind the low promotion as well as the loss of the film in its first weekend due to IPL matches.   • Week 2 – Rs. 16.42 crores

Raazi Holds Well in the Fourth Week

Raazi had collected over Rs. 100 crores till the end of its third week and also maintained its stronghold in the fourth week. It earned around Rs. 8 crores in the fourth week and its total crossed Rs. 117 crores at the box office. The total earning of the film is as follows:

  • Week 1 – Rs. 56.59 crores
  • Week 2 – Rs. 35.04 crores
  • Week 3 – Rs. 18.21 crores
  • Week 4 – Rs. 7.95 crores
  • Total – Rs. 117.79 crores
