Vivegam’s Box Office performance is excellent. While it was a disastrous week at the Bollywood Box office, the Tamil Box Office held up really well and did wonder with Vivegam doing rock solid collection.
India Collection
Here are the daily first weekend figures of the movie till now (Net India)
- Friday – Rs. 15.25 crores
- Saturday – Rs. 16.25 crores
- Sunday – Rs. 17.5 crores (Estimated)
This comes out to a total of Rs. 50 crores net over the first weekend which is excellent. The Gross Collection In India are around Rs. 75-78 crores net.
The Data from the Smaller theaters are not yet available hence the above figures are approximate. And this is the first time after GST that a Major Tamil movie has released. So net Collections could come out slightly lower as Theaters which charge below Rs. 100 for a movie ticket are being taxed at 18% GST
Overseas & Worldwide Collection
Vivegam is performing really well in the overseas markets. Here are some of its figures for the first weekend (gross)
- Australia – Rs. 1.3 crores
- USA – Rs. 4.5 crores
Overall the Vivegam Worldwide box office figures in 3 days have touched Rs. 101 crore and it is a fantastic figure. The film is expected to do more wonders at the box office in the coming days.
