Vishal Pandya directed Wajah Tum Ho featuring Gurmeet Choudhary, Sharman Joshi and Sana Khan has hit the theatre last Friday with a very average opening at the box office. According to report, the footfall is not really impressive as the morning show was started with 20-25% occupancy in 2000 screens across the country. This erotic thriller is from the same producer of Hate story 3 that was released a year back but it was started with a good business of Rs. 9.72 crores while the estimated opening day collection of Wajah Tum ho is Rs. 3.58 crores in India.
It has collected Rs. 0.94 crores overseas on the opening day taking the total 1st day collection to Rs. 4.52 crores.
The movie has created lots of pre-release buzz among audiences. Also according to critics and audiences, the movie has a good story including thrill and suspense. So, the main reason this movie did not open as expected because it is a non-family movie. Other pre-releases such as Befikre, Kahaani 2 and Dear Zindagi is still running in the theatre and have good hold of audiences which have slightly affected the business of Wajah Tum Ho.
