Super-30 is Bollywood’s next biographical film which is based on the life of Bihar’s genius, Anand Kumar. Hrithik Roshan will be seen portraying his character. Anand Kumar is a great mathematician who teaches IIT aspirants. He selects 30 economically poor & intellectual students for his class & provided them free education.
Vikash Behl is the director of this film. While he finalized Hrithik for the male lead a long time ago, the female lead was kept wrapped. Earlier, there some rumors that Katrina Kaif or Sara Ali Khan might be seen in the lead role. But sources have recently revealed the name of the female lead after so many contradictions.

There were many rumors & confusions regarding the female lead of this film. According to some sources, the role of the actress is much lesser than the actor, so no big heroine was approached for this. The filmmakers were in search of a fresh face. Recently, a picture from the set of Super 30 is revealed in which Hrithik is seen with a newcomer, Mrunal Thakur. This clarifies that she will be seen opposite Hrithik Roshan.
Mrunal Thakur is a model & actress who worked in the television industry for a long time. She became famous after appearing in super hit daily soap, Kumkum Bhagya & a reality show, Nach Baliye. Now, this television actress is all set to make her debut in the Hindi film industry. Apart from Mrunal, many more television actresses entered Bollywood after working on the small screen.
Makers need 1 more lead actor
The filmmakers have recently announced that they need one more lead actor for this upcoming biopic. Anand Kumar’s brother, Pranav has played a vital role in Anand’s journey. So, the team decided to focus on him too. Sources revealed that Pranav demanded a well-known face to portray his character on the screen. Otherwise, he would not give NOC.
If sources are to be trusted, makers may approach Siddharth Malhotra or Tiger Shroff for playing the role of the brother of Hrithik Roshan for this film. Although there is no any confirmation yet, we are hoping everything to be finalized soon. The film is slated to go on the floors next year on 25 January.
