The trend which was started by Aamir Khan, many other movies followed. After Dangal, Secret Superstar, Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Hindi Medium, Toile Ek Prem Katha is next in line to release at China Box Office. The release date for the same is not announced yet. But the speculations are that it would be featured near the end of this year.
TEPK would be the 4th movie to release in China. Before this, whichever movie has made its way to the country, has been succeeded triumphantly. Even though Bajrangi Bhaijaan could not match the craze for Aamir Khan movies in China, yet it has roped in enormous collections from the country. Hindi Medium is yet to release on 4th April, so nothing much can be said about this movie’s collection. But again, a social message movie is greatly loved by the people of China, as is evident from Secret Superstar’s success.
So if we keep this in mind, TEPK would have a very strong liking among the people of China. And we are hoping the movie makes even more than what it collected in India. The box office collection of TEPK in India stands at Rs. 125 Crores. So the expected collections from TEPK are more than 125 in its just 1-week of run in China.
