Sonika is the mistress of Mandar Mhatre, a powerful corrupt politician. She falls in love with Akshay but is afraid of Mandar. But she gives into Akshay’s persistence and together they elope from Mandar’s claws. Mandar comes after them, kills Akshay, and leaves Sonika to die.
