Parmanu has completed its first two days in the theatres and has earned decently. John Abraham’s film held averagely on its opening day but recovered well on its second day. The positive word of mouth helped the film to grow significantly on Saturday and its total crossed Rs.12 crores mark. It is important for the movie to witness an excellent growth on its third day, i.e, Sunday. Here are the early estimates for Parmanu 3rd day collection.
Recovers Well on Saturday
Parmanu had earned decently on its opening day but it held well on Saturday. The film grew by over 50% on its day 2 and took its total over Rs. 12 crores. Earlier, it was expected to grow in the range of 35-40% but Parmanu surprised everyone by its stronghold on its second day. It has not got affected by the strong show of Raazi at the box office. The first two day business of Parmanu is as follows:
- Friday – Rs.4.82 crores
- Saturday – Rs. 7.64 crores
- Total – Rs. 12.46 crores
However, the growth of the film is less than other content films released earlier this year. Films namely Hichki, October and 102 Not Out grew more than Paramnu. The only way for Parmanu to prove its mettle is to maintain its stronghold in the coming days at the box office.
Sunday Collection Early Estimates
John Abraham and Diana Penty’s movie, Parmanu has to witness a strong growth on Sunday and collect a big first-weekend collection in its pocket. However, today is the final match of IPL 2018, so Parmanu might get affected due to it. But since it is not that big film so we can neglect the impact of high voltage match on the film’s business.
If we make a rough estimate about the film’s business then Parmanu 3rd day collection is likely to cross Rs. 20 crores in its first three days. Parmanu would witness over 60% growth on its third day and earn around Rs. 8 crores on Sunday. But this is not sufficient for the film, and it has to remain strong on the weekdays of its first week to bag a good amount of money. More updates about the film will be made available soon.
Update: Parmanu grew by 72% on Sunday and collected Rs. 8.32 crores. The first-weekend collection of the film stands at Rs 20.78 crores.
