After a persistent bad phase of Bollywood since last few months, the breeze of good films starts again. Last week, Bareilly Ki Barfi released at the box office. The film is not a big starrer film and so there were not many expectations from the film. But on its very first day, it managed to receive positive reviews from the critics and starts its journey on a decent note.

The next factor which is crucial to the success of any film is a positive word of mouth of the audience. Bareilly Ki Barfi received good reviews from the audience too and hence despite getting a slow start, it accelerated its growth on the first weekend and witnessed an excellent growth on Saturday and  Sunday. So, there is a good reason to watch the film.

Bareilly Ki Barfi Movie Still
A Still From Bareilly Ki Barfi

The audience appreciated the acting of Ayushmann Khurrana and Rajkumar Rao. Ayushmann Khurrana’s last release with Parineeti Chopra was not able to perform well at the box office. Also, Kriti Sanon has performed well in this film. Her last release Raabta was not appreciated by the audience but as usual Raj Kumar Rao’s acting is crossing all the boundaries and people really likes his performance in the film. Also, the songs of the movie are quite amusing and the audience really enjoyed the balanced script of the film.

Obviously, the film is facing a competition from Akshay Kumar’s Toilet – Ek Prem Katha, still, it has managed to sow its seeds of success at the box office. It looks like it is going to repeat the success map of Hindi Medium. Like Hindi Medium, it is also a small budget film and gets a slow start in the beginning but it is following the same trend of growth as Hindi Medium did.
