Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt starrer movie Badrinath Ki Dulhania is moving swiftly towards the 100 crore mark. The collections of the movie have already reached Rs 91.22 crore in India. The romantic comedy was released last week. The charming duo has managed to attract much attention from the audience. They seem to love their on-screen chemistry.
The Karan Johar movie has gathered much acclamation from the audience. Badrinath Ki Dulhania collected 73.66 crore, 43.05 crore worth collections were just from the opening weekend.
In the second week the Friday collections of the movie was 4.21 crore. During the weekend the collections were 5.90 crore on Saturday while the Sunday business was 7.45 crore.
The movie seems to be doing well in the overseas market as well. Badrinath Ki Dulhania has done a business of Rs. 30.87 crore in the foreign screens.
The movie has left behind the previous instalment Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania. It also crossed the collections of Kaabil and is nearing the collections of Jolly LLB2.
The Monday morning occupancy of Badrinath Ki Dulhania is about 12% less. The 11th day collections is expected to be about 5 to 5.4 crore in the domestic front.
