Every year, Ajay Devgn comes up with a movie with a different concept. Baadhsaho, Shivaay, and Drishyam have been one of the biggest releases in his film career, with each movie having a unique concept. His latest release Baadshaho is a multi-starrer movie, which focuses on the Gold robbery during Emergency Period of 1975. It released in September this year and performed really well at the Box Office. Even though it faced competition from Shubh Mangal Savdhan, it managed to cross 60 Crores mark in its 1st week of operation.
His previous release was Shivaay, which was released in October 2016. Shivaay was released along with Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. Even while facing competition, the movie did a business of 70 Crores in its first week. The movie is based on the Himalayan mountaineer who turns the world upside down when his daughter gets kidnapped.
In 2015, Ajay Devgn came with Drishyam. This movie received a very low opening owing to its nearly zero promotion. And hence collected only around 40 Crores in its first week. The movie was able to perform well even after very low opening, only due to the positive word of mouth. It was based on the murder and Ajay Devgn’s efforts to save his family from investigations against that murder.
