Both the action films are a sequel to their previous hit movies, Ek Tha Tiger and Baaghi. Tiger Zinda Hai was a big budget movie while Baaghi 2 is a medium budget film. Also, the other difference between the two is, TZH starred famous actors while Baaghi 2 has young stars in it. Here is the analysis of the two movies at the box office:
Tiger released during the Christmas and New Year eve, hence it received a humongous response due to holidays. It crossed Rs. 110 crores mark in just three days. Also, it fared well on the first Monday and earned an excellent amount due to Christmas holiday. TZH was the highest Hindi grosser of the year 2017 and crossed Rs. 300 crores in the domestic market and Rs. 500 crores mark in the worldwide market.
Baaghi 2 turns out to be the Highest grosser of Tiger Shroff and crossed Rs. 95 crores in just 5 days at the box office. The movie is not showing any major drop and it is second Friday, that would decide whether it would become a blockbuster or not.
