Last Friday’s Hindi release Hindi Medium and Half Girlfriend is running in the theaters steadily and garnering quite good business in the weekdays as well. Hindi Medium directed by Saket Chaudhary has been made on a small budget of Rs. 22 crores while the total domestic collection of 6 days has helped them to recover that money almost. The 6th day collection of Hindi Medium is Rs. 2.89 crores to make a total of Rs. 21.90 crores business in the domestic market.
While Hindi Medium featuring Irfan Khan and Saba Qamar has been able to please the critics and audiences Half Girlfriend is not that impressive and many have claimed that this movie makes them puzzled while it is also felt soulless. Again, this is a haphazard movie more than a love story.
Half Girlfriend featuring Shraddha Kapoor and Arjun Kapoor minted an amount of Rs. 3.79 crores on its 6 days taking the total domestic collection to Rs. 45.40 crores.
Hindi Medium is doing quite good business on the overseas market as well which delivers an excellent message to the society in a very fun way. The movie is highly enjoyable that do not offer you any room for boredness.
