The movie Hindi Medium starring Irfan Khan and Saba Qamar in the lead roles has opened yesterday on a very positive note to collect Rs. 2.25 crores on the opening day. While Irfan Khan is one of the best and famous actors in the Bollywood industry, Saba Qamar is a Pakistani actress who made her debut in Bollywood with this movie.
This is a comedy movie but delivers a powerful message through it. As the name suggests the movie is based on the education system in India and depicts how the education is being turned to business.
Hindi Medium tells the story of a couple where the husband (Irfan Khan) is from Hindi medium while his wife (Saba Qamar) studied in English medium school and they try hard to make their 3 years old daughter enroll in an English medium school.
Directed by Saket Chaudhary this is an amazing movie that has comedy, humor, emotions and everything. The script is too good while the performance of both Irfan Khan and Saba Qamar is brilliant.
Even though the first-day collection is not that strong but the positive reviews and good word of mouth indicate the movie to see a great jump on the weekend.
