It became the only Indian movie till date to enter the Rs. 500 Crore club. And the reason behind this huge success has been the top-notch Marketing of the movie, “Why Katappa killed Bahubali?“. And yes, that is the reason IIM-A will now use this movie to teach their students some important concepts of Marketing.
IIM Ahmedabad has been the first MBA institute in Asia to offer an elective based on the “Film Industry”. And this course will have some guest lectures from the prominent persons in the film industry. Apart from the basic concepts and guest lectures, the course will also include some famous movie examples.
How the case study will help students
The case study based on Bahubali 2 will teach students the power of sequel. According to the DNA report, through this case study, the students will learn how the sequel to a movie can derisk it.
