Synopsis

In 2015 cricket series, India beats Sri Lanka to play against Pakistan in its finals. Viraj Sharma is the top player and the front-runner in the Indian cricket team. But one day, Viraj Sharma goes missing. He gets kidnapped in Middle East by some Pakistan fan so that Pakistan wins the finals. Now, the mismatched Indian task force and Emirati police officer team up to find the missing player. 36 hours are remaining for the final match. Will these 2 officers be able to keep their differences aside and find Viraj before its too late?

Movie Reception

Dishoom came to the theatres on a solid-note and witnessed a good growth over its first weekend. The film also remained strong over the weekdays of week 1 and earned over Rs. 50 crores. It also remained strong in the second week and attracted a huge number of audience to its screens.

Dishoom collected around Rs. 15 crores in the second week and took its total near Rs. 70 crores. However, the film failed to show its magic in the third week and could not even manage to collect  Rs. 1 crores at the box office. Dishoom also managed to get a good response in the overseas and took its worldwide total near Rs. 100 crores. The film was a success at the box office.
