Gabbar is Back received positive reviews from the critics and it collected an excellent amount on its opening day. The film witnessed a good growth over the first weekend and collected over Rs. 35 crores in its first three days. The audience really appreciated the film and the positive word of mouth ensured a total near Rs. 60 crores.

In the second week too, the film held well and earned around Rs. 20 crores. Due to an excellent performance in the in its lifetime, Gabbar is Back ended its lifetime run with around Rs. 81 crores and it crossed Rs. 100 crores mark all over the world.
