A paleoclimatologist named Jack Hall predicts that the climate is changing at a rapid rate and soon a thunderstorm will bring new ice age that would wipe out most of the population. But the govt. did not take him seriously. The climate soon begins to show its effects much earlier than he predicted. Meanwhile, his son is stranded in another city along with his friends, where everything has turned into snow. Now Jack must make a daring trek to reach his son and save him before its too late.
