Since last year, after the grand success of Naagin series, Mouni Roy has always been in the buzz column for her performance & achievements. Apart from this, her elegant look made her more popular to top the social media. She made her debut on the small screen in the year 2007 with Ekta Kapoor serial, “Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi“.
The actress has been working in the television industry for more than 10 years now. Initially, she remained unnoticed even after doing so many shows. But, in 2010 she got to play a character named ‘Sati’ in ‘Devon K Dev… Mahadev’ after which she started her actual journey to fame. Along with many fantastic serials, she appeared in reality, dance-based shows like ‘Jhalak Dikhla Jaa’ as a contestant. She was seen as host too in a show called ‘So You Think You Can Dance’.
A lot of Upcoming Projects for Mouni Roy
After ruling the television industry, Mouni Roy is now all set to try her luck in Bollywood with her upcoming film ‘Gold‘ as a debut actor. She will be seen opposite to Akshay Kumar in the movie. Along with this film, there was a rumor that she will be replacing Sonakshi Sinha in ‘Dabangg-3’. According to some sources, she might get to work in this film but not in the lead role.
Moving ahead in her Bollywood career, there’s one more film that has been added to her kitty. She has been finalized for a role in ‘Brahmshastra’. If sources are to be trusted, the actress will be seen as a villain along with the lead actors Ranbir Kapoor & Alia Bhatt.
