Varun Dhawan’s movie October has picked its pace after a low first-day collection. On its 2nd day, the movie witnessed a humongous growth and surprised everyone with its excellent performance. October is inching towards a decent first weekend total and it would be important to see how the film progresses on the weekdays. Here are the early estimates for October 3rd day collection.

Excellent Growth on Day 2

After the opening day, it seemed a bit difficult for the film to recover at the box office. But on Saturday, it made an excellent comeback and witnessed around 48% growth. The movie has taken its first two days earning to Rs. 12.51 crores. Earlier, it was expected to grow by a decent margin but October surprised everyone by performing well on its day 2.

3rd Day Collection Early Estimates

October 3rd day collection would not witness much growth because it has already grown by an excellent percentage on its day 2. The first weekend total of the movie would easily cross the amount of Rs 20 crores. It is the performance of October on the weekdays that would determine its lifetime collection. If we compare October and Badlapur, then we can say that there is not much difference between the performance of the two films. Varun Dhawan’s career would definitely get a boost due to October and he might be seen in the similar movies in future. Here is the day-wise collection of the film:

  • Friday – Rs. 5.04 crores
  • Saturday – Rs. 7.47 crores
  • Total – Rs. 12.51 crores

Baaghi 2 Crosses 150 Crores Mark

Baaghi 2 has been doing excellent work at the box office and it has crossed the mark of Rs. 150 crores. On its third Friday, the film remained unaffected by the new release, October. This is prominently due to the different audience from the new arrival. The film would witness a good growth over its third weekend and is likely to remain strong on the weekdays. The total earning of the film is as follows:

  • First Week – Rs. 112.85 crores
  • Second Week – Rs. 35.60 crores
  • Third Friday – Rs. 1.75 crores
  • Total – Rs. 150.25 crores
