Shaad Ali directorial Ok Jaanu starring Shraddha Kapoor and Aditya Roy Kapoor in the lead roles has entered in the weekdays after completing the weekend business. It was highly expected that the second collaboration of these two stars will again create a magic of love in the screen but unfortunately, it failed to meet that expectation. No doubt Shraddha and Aditya Roy Kapoor’s chemistry is really solid, but somehow critics and audiences are not very satisfied with that.
Ok Jaanu hit the screen on Friday making an average business of Rs. 4.08 crores and witnessed very small growth over the weekend. The weekend box collection of the movie is as follows:
Friday- Rs. 4.08 crores
Saturday- Rs. 4.90 crores
Sunday- Rs. 4.82 crores
So, the total weekend box office collection of the movie is Rs. 13.80 crores. Sunday collections were clearly affected by the India vs England Cricket Match.
xXx Return of Xander Cage, the new offering of Hollywood starring Deepika Padukone is already released in India which is another reason for the slow growth of Ok Jannu’s box office collection. Ok Jannu is no doubt enjoyable to some extent until unless you have not seen the original version of the movie Ok Kanmani.
