Padman is doing a good business at the box office. The film has refused to slow down and is performing well especially in the metro cities. It held strongly on Monday and witnessed less drop from Friday. On Tuesday, it is a holiday in some states due to Mahashivratri. Now it would be interesting to see how much jump Padman 5th day collection shows. Here is an early estimate of the film on Tuesday.
Good Week At the Box Office
Before the arrival of Padman at the box office, Padmaavat was performing at its peak level. Despite the strong opponent and different subject of the film, it managed to hold well since its release. Also, Padmaavat is doing super strongly still Akshay Kumar’s Padman has refused to witness any major drop due to it. All this leads to a good week for the audience and made them available with two choices in the form of these two movies.
Tuesday Collection Early Estimates
Although the film earned decent collection on its opening day, it managed to collect a good money over the first weekend.On Sunday, it failed to witness the expected growth due to less response from North Indian cities. Despite this, Paman showed less drop on Monday and collected Rs. 5.87 crores and held strongly at the box office.
Now, it is a very different situation on Tuesday as its a holiday due to Mahashivrati in some states. While some other states have declared their official off on Wednesday. Whatever the case may be, these two partial holidays would definitely benefit the film to raise a good number.
The power performance of the film on Monday signals that it would remain strong on the coming days. And it is difficult to tell on whether the film would show more growth on Tuesday or Wednesday. Having a look at the track record of the film since its release, Padman Tuesday collection is expected to land in the range of Rs. 7-9 crores due to the partial holiday. Which in other words means a jump of around 35% from the previous day. With this, its total would easily surpass Rs. 50 crores mark. More updates will be made available soon.
