Akshay Kumar starrer Padman released on the Box Office today on a very positive note. The film had almost no advance in all major centres but still, the footfalls for the early morning shows are very encouraging. Generally, we don’t notice a thing like this. But in case of Padman, we can see more women coming to watch this film than they come for other films. The reason is obvious as this movie is all about Women Empowerment.
But this difference is not huge as it is being reported. All Akshay Kumar fans, Men and Women have been excited for this film for a while. And since this is Akshay Kumar 2nd consecutive movie on a social cause, expectations from Padman is very high. His previous venture Toilet Ek Prem Katha was a huge success at the box office.

Akshay Kumar movies generally don’t take a very big opening. They open on a positive note and then scale up over the weekend. This is something which should happen with each and every film.
