Padmaavat has performed in rock steady manner since its arrival at the box office. The film did not witness any major fall and even showed growth on the weekdays in week 3. It also received benefit due to partial holidays on a couple of days this week. Padmaavat also remained unaffected due to the mad following for the new release, Padman. Let’s have a look at Padmavat 3rd Week collection early estimates in details.

Winner Among all Epic Movies

It is the merits of Padmaavat which ensured it’s strong performance at the box office. The film not only benefitted the career of its star cast but also turned out to be a winner among all epic movies. Despite the loss of business due to protest and ban in some states, the film broke many records in its first three weeks. Also, it becomes the highest grosser for the director Sanjay Leela Bhansali. For the Epic films category, it sets a new standard and becomes an inspiration for the filmmakers.

Padmavat box office collectiona

7th Highest Grosser of All Time

Last week, Padmaavat crossed the lifetime collection of Chennai Express and Kick to grab 8th spot. Now, after surpassing the net collection of Dhoom 3, it stands at number 7. Sultan is one step ahead of Padmaavat. But the latter is going to enter its fourth week tomorrow and there will be a new release, Aiyaari to take screens at the box office. So right now it seems difficult for Padmaavat to cross the lifetime business of Sultan at the box office.

Third Week Collection Early Estimates

On its 3rd Wednesday, Padmaavat earned Rs. 4.50 crores and showed a jump of 41% from its Monday collection. This is because of Mahashivratri holiday in some states and also due to Valentine’s day celebration. Now the total collection of the film stands at Rs. 265.25 crores. Today, it is most likely to earn in the range of Rs. 2.50 – 3 crores to take its three weeks earning to Rs. 269 crores.

Padmaavat is the fifth film of all time to cross Rs. 30 crores mark in the third week. It would be interesting see how much would it get affected due to new release Aiyaary. More updates will be made available soon.
